Evaporative Cooling
Evaporative cooling is a safe, very efficient method of reducing heat gains within a building.
Evaporative air conditioning can be successfully applied to an enormous amount of applications and in many cases can be the only effective and economic solution to acceptable comfort conditions.
By replacing the stale air with 100% fresh moistened clean air evaporative cooling units improve the air quality and increases comfort levels.
The advantages of evaporative air conditioning are obvious:-
- Low capital cost (2 – 3 times less than conventional air conditioning)
- Low operating costs (3 – 4 times less than conventional air conditioning)
- Low installation cost
- Uses 100% fresh outside air continually
- Filters out dust, dirt and foreign matter
- Ideal for use in large buildings where running and operational costs for refrigerant systems are prohibitive
- Can be installed in new or existing buildings
- Maintenance is simple and low cost

Why evaporative air cooling creates comfort?
- Lowers actual temperature – properly installed, the unit provides a continuous flow of cool air that lowers actual room temperature
- Lowers effective temperature – rapid motion of the cool air increases skin surface evaporation and this results in body heat loss and lowers effective temperature
- Provides 100% fresh revitalising air
