Glen Wilson were recently involved in a swimming pool ventilation / heat recovery system ensuring huge energy cost savings per year for a “York”school.
We worked closely with “Dantherm UK Ltd”to replace an ageing inefficient swimming pool ventilation system over a three week period installing a “DanX”heat recovery unit complete with ductwork, pipework and the associated controls.
The payback period for the total cost of the installation is just 2.14 years made from energy efficiency savings and this can only be good for the establishment concerned and the environment.
In addition, in conjunction with the “Carbon Trust”certain establishments can also apply for an interest free loan for the full value of the project and once the savings have been made through energy costs the monies are repaid back to the trust. Therefore, any future savings on energy that are made once the loan has been paid provide a direct benefit to the finances of the establishment and the environment.
